Duties: Carry out testing on such materials to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards; Serve as a senior process safety management engineer providing policy, guidance, and technical direction to the Process Safety Management program; Implement and sustain the elements of the Process Safety Management program including hazard analysis, pre safety start-up reviews, acceptance of risk, management of change, preventive maintenance, and process audits; provide advice or guidance on or resolves technical matters dealing with explosives/ordnance safety requirements; Serve as the technical expert for critical chemical process and ordnance manufacturing hazard analyses and occupational safety; Review facility and equipment drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams and other process information for compliance with explosive safety and process safety management requirements; Design, modify, and/or construct workplaces, processes, or products to minimize or eliminate explosives safety hazards and threats; Conduct process audits to ensure manufacturing equipment and processes comply with process safety management requirements

Travel may be required throughout the US and internationally for consulting purposes.
