Position Summary
The Fiscal Support Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned department or program and for researching financial data and preparing reports. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
General Department Financial
 
· Manage Departmental Budgets for the 22 music department indexes
· Manage 24 UCA Foundation Funds (Non-Scholarship)
· Ensure department is in full compliance with all financial and inventory policies
· Handle all financial correspondence and paperwork
· Liaise with the budget office, students accounts, inventory compliance, with regard to Departmental Finances
· Liaise with the UCA Foundation on all financial Foundation matters dealing with Music Departmental Funds
· Maintain all Music Department financial records both paper and electronic
· Keep the Chair informed of all financial dealings
 
Music Department Inventory Control
 
· Liaise with Inventory Control on all Music inventory
· Manage and maintain all Music Department inventory documentation
· Manage and maintain all key inventory documentation
 
Cash Management – Income
 
· Manage all deposits for department indexes
· Manager all deposits to UCA Foundation music department funds
 
UCA Procurement
 
· Manage all UCA music department & UCA foundation vendors
· Liaise with faculty concerning all departmental purchasing
· Liaise with faculty concerning all departmental purchasing
· Complete all requisitions for purchase orders
· Manage multiple UCA Music Department purchase credit cards
· Receive all items in Banner
 
UCA Accounts Payable
 
· Submit all invoices to UCA Accounts Payable for payment, including international wire transfers
· Submit all Funds Requests to the UCA Foundation
 
Music Department Travel
 
· Coordinate Faculty/ensemble, Student Travel and Guest Artist Travel
· Complete and submit all department travel reimbursements
· Manage Chair’s Travel Credit Card
 

 
Payroll – Approve all student worker timesheets both manually and in Self-Service
 
Back-up for Administrative Specialist when out of office
 
Other duties as assigned

Required Education and/or Experience
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in general business, finance, or a related field.
