Job Description
Stamping Press Operator
Summary of position:
Using a tool and die set up and stamping machine to make parts that meet customer specifications, quality check all parts according to blueprints, while keeping inventory of parts using company computer system, Plex.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Tool and Die set up
  • Must be able to program and read blueprints
  • Knowledge of Raw Material, Gauges and Thickness
  • Forklift certified preferred
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control Procedures
  • Able to lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds
Duties:
  • Inspect machines energy sources for any safety issues
  • Follow parts schedule to be sure to meet on time completion standards
  • Set up tool and die to specifications
  • Follow blueprint to make quality parts
  • Run decoiler
  • Run feeder
  • Update material and parts inventory in computer system Plex
  • Quality checks on completed parts
  • Moving parts to the next process
  • Keep area clean and free of debris
