Position SummaryCollege Square, the university’s independent living retirement community, is looking for individuals interested in working as servers in our dietary department. College Square provides three meals a day Monday through Saturday, with brunch on Sunday. Part time servers typically work 15 to 20 hours per week. Monday through Friday hours are 4pm to 7pm. Saturday hours are 6:30am to 1pm, 11am to 7pm or 4pm to 7pm. Sunday hours are 11am to 4pm. Weekends and holidays are required.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to, assisting with food preparation, serving meals restaurant style to the table, clean up and resetting of the dining room.

Required Education and/or Experience
License(s)/Certifications (Required or Preferred)Must have, or be willing to obtain, CPR and First Aid Certification. Must be detail and multi-task oriented and have strong customer service skills. Must be comfortable working independently. Prior server experience is helpful but not required. This is an entry level position whereby job duties can be learned on the job. Desire to work with senior adults is encouraged.
