Conway Motorcycle Shop is seeking an Apprentice Powersports (Motorcycle, ATV, SxS) Technician. Technician Apprentice also does routine services on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), motorcycles, and side-by-sides.

The technician will receive on-the-job training to diagnose faults, complete repairs, and replace parts.

Additional on-the-job training includes:
  • Repairing engines, brakes, electrical systems, ignition systems, fuel injection systems, plugs and carburetors
  • Doing inspections and routine services
  • Fitting and repairing tires, customizing or fitting accessories
  • Advising of necessary repairs and giving an estimate and breakdown of time and parts needed
  • Reading and following manuals, worksheets
  • Following electrical schematics, using hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, etc.,
  • Use of computerized diagnostic equipment, heavy lifting, and pushing. 

No previous experience is required.  

A valid driver's license is required.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and computer literate. Must be willing to work on a team and be open to receiving feedback.

Potential for 5-10 hours per week of overtime (OT) available paid at time and a half.
Six major holidays paid and 401k benefits. Paid vacation/sick leave is available after six months.

Hours can be somewhat flexible.

Working 2 or more Saturdays (8:30 a.m.-12 noon) per month is preferred and is overtime pay.
