Position Summary

The Camp Coordinator is responsible for organizing summer camps and additional events outside of camp season. This position will report to the Director of Conference Services in the department of Outreach and Community Engagement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate Summer Camps for external and internal (departments) clients; this may include preparing formal contracts, work orders, catering orders, processing registrations and

providing on-site support

Assist in establishing/updating policies and standards for our Summer Camp program

Summer camp website maintenance and updates as needed

Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system for all activities

Responsible for comprehensive data collection and retention

Assist with event scheduling and coordination which may include receiving calendar requests by phone, email or in person and preparing formal contracts, work orders, catering orders,

processing registrations and providing on-site support

Answer telephone and greet clients and visitors

Perform general clerical duties

Responsible for processing Purchase Orders and other procedural forms in a timely manner in accordance with purchasing guidelines

Early morning, night and weekend work on an as-needed basis; especially during peak times which includes summer

Any other duties as assigned

Knowledge of University of Central Arkansas and Outreach and Community Engagement policies and procedures

Must present self professionally in both oral and written communication

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate activities, resources and materials associated with the needs of the team, department and division

Ability to work well with a diverse group of people

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
