Quality Countertops seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Template/Measurer to join our team. The ideal candidate will create accurate templates and measurements for countertop installations, ensuring precision and efficiency in all projects. The role requires technical skills, a strong understanding of countertop installations, and excellent communication to liaise with clients and our fabrication team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure countertops at client locations, ensuring all measurements are accurate and complete for fabrication.
  • Create physical or digital templates using precise measurements and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm design specifications, materials, and project details.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth workflow and accuracy of the final product.
  • Record and maintain measurement data systematically for easy reference.
  • Identify and resolve any potential measurement challenges or discrepancies.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures during on-site visits.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in countertop measuring, templating, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and floor plans.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers professionally.
  • Comfortable using measurement tools (e.g., tape measures, laser measuring devices).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
  • Basic knowledge of countertop materials, such as granite, quartz, marble, etc is a plus.
